Hermès SS27 Menswear: Soft Leathers and Relaxed Silhouettes Define Summer Ease

Hermès presented its Spring/Summer 2027 menswear collection, ushering in a lighter seasonal mood with a focus on supple leathers, functional textiles, and layered ensembles that blend urban sophistication with relaxed ease.

The collection eschews overt ornamentation, instead highlighting the interplay of proportions, fabric textures, and leather finishes. Designs like high-neck shirt jackets, collarless workshop shirts, boat-neck tops, ribbed vests, and longline coats create subtle layering. Materials such as water-repellent cotton, parachute canvas, silk-cotton poplin, linen-cotton knits, and cashmere blends offer both practicality and a refined tactile experience.

Color plays a crucial role, with a foundation of stable tones like sand, gravel gray, graphite, and warm Havana brown, complemented by lighter variations in dusty pink, glacier blue, and wisteria. Silhouettes are relaxed yet structured, featuring high-waisted pleated trousers, wide-leg pants, straight-cut jackets, and long parkas that define a comfortable yet sharp summer look.
