Hermès Unveils 2026 Spring/Summer Footwear: Iconic Elements Reimagined for the Modern Wardrobe

Hermès is ushering in the summer season with its 2026 Spring/Summer footwear collection, which reimagines classic brand elements for contemporary wear. The collection spans a wide array of styles, including casual sneakers, elegant sandals, formal shoes, and boots, all infused with the house's signature motifs.

For women, the collection draws inspiration from iconic symbols. The MELI ballet flats feature the Chaîne d'Ancre anchor chain motif transformed into intricate leather cut-outs, complemented by a new functional palladium clasp, adding a jewelry-like detail. The MAJESTÉ 80 heels and MISS flats highlight the Nano Kelly bag clasp, with the former emphasizing feminine lines through a pointed toe and the latter offering a barely-there feel with delicate straps.

Embracing a vacation vibe, the MEDUSA 30 sandals incorporate rope details and cork heels, evoking a nautical theme. The MINOS sandals feature natural rope along the sole's edge, merging leather and knot craftsmanship. The MOONLIGHT 40 sandals, crafted from goatskin with matching Hapi enamel buckles, are versatile for transitioning from day to evening wear.

The men's collection offers a comprehensive range for various occasions. The JET sneakers utilize technical canvas with a light honey-colored sole adorned with the H en biais pattern, blending retro aesthetics with a lightweight feel. The MASTER sneakers pay homage to early Hermès athletic footwear with a signature diagonal H and visible stitching, featuring a slimmer sole than the Quick model for a cleaner look. The MORGAN sneakers, made of cotton canvas, have soles interwoven with nautical ropes forming the word "Hermès," aligning with the brand's annual theme "Horizons du Coeur" (Horizons of the Heart).

In the sandal category, the MIKY model introduces the new H Corsivo logo, using suede calfskin and a mirrored polished buckle. The MIZUKI lace-up sandals are inspired by the cut of the KATANA sneakers and feature an ergonomic TPU sole. For formal occasions, the LENON ankle boots and MATTHEW loafers are constructed using the Goodyear welt technique, emphasizing durability and repairability, embodying the brand's commitment to fine craftsmanship.
