Hesse braces for summer heat: temperatures to reach 32 degrees Celsius

Residents of Hesse, Germany, can look forward to a pleasant and increasingly warm weather phase this week. The German Weather Service (DWD) forecasts sunny and dry conditions starting Thursday. Northern Hesse will see temperatures between 25 and 28 degrees Celsius, while the southern part of the state can expect highs of 28 to 30 degrees. Higher elevations will experience cooler temperatures around 23 degrees. Overnight lows will drop to between 10 and 14 degrees Celsius. The fair weather is set to continue into Friday, with a mix of sun and clouds but no rain in sight. Temperatures will range from 22 to 26 degrees in the north and 27 to 29 degrees in the south. Saturday promises to be particularly warm, with sunny skies and temperatures climbing to 28 to 32 degrees Celsius in most areas, and around 23 degrees in the higher mountain regions. Winds are expected to remain light, primarily from the southeast.
