Hijos del Parque returns to Lambaré for youth month with freestyle battles

Freestyle, music, sport and community will return to Lambaré’s Plaza Panchito López on Sept. 12, when Hijos del Parque stages a new edition for Youth Month.

The event will take place near República Argentina and España. Mister H, the activity’s main promoter, is organizing the gathering, which is expected to attract young people from different parts of Paraguay as well as international guests.

Hijos del Parque began in the plaza as a meeting place for a generation that found in freestyle a way to express itself, compete and share experiences. Its return is intended to recover that spirit and bring the activity back to its original setting.

Freestyle battles will anchor the program, alongside an open sparring session and music from DJs. The Vera Brothers will provide live vinyl sounds, DJ Pulso will handle the battle tracks, and Crazy Hache will serve as host.

Sport will also have a place in the day’s activities. Puños de Fuego and instructor Juan Aguilar will lead the open sparring session, presenting contact sports in a community setting. Organizers describe the return as more than a one-day event, saying they want to fill the plaza again and preserve a space that grew out of the community itself.
