Historic record: Over 70 crews to compete in the 37th Gran Premio del Paraguay

Encarnación, Paraguay, is set to host the 37th Gran Premio del Paraguay from June 24 to 27, 2026, an event that has become one of South America's most significant regularity competitions for vintage vehicles.

This year's edition marks a historic milestone, with over 70 crews registered to participate. Competitors will represent Paraguay, Argentina, and Uruguay, showcasing the event's strong regional draw. Organized by the Club de Vehículos Antiguos del Paraguay (CVAP) and the Touring y Automóvil Club Paraguayo (TACPy), and overseen by Codasur, the Gran Premio is a key fixture in the national regularity championship.

Furthermore, the competition serves as the second round of the Codasur South American Championship for Historic Touring Cars. Over three days, participants will navigate routes through the departments of Itapúa, Caazapá, and Misiones, passing through various towns including Encarnación, Coronel Bogado, Yuty, and Ayolas.
