HIVE's New Girl Group Named TUIDE, to Debut with Seven Members

HIVE's new subsidiary label, ABD, is set to launch its first girl group, which has been named TUIDE. The seven-member group is scheduled to debut in the latter half of this year, with their official social media accounts now active.

The name TUIDE is derived from the phrase 'Tune the tide,' embodying the members' aspiration to experience and harmonize various global currents to create novel forms of enjoyment. The group comprises Seohui, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Sea, and Leehanui. ABD has strategically decided to keep the group's official Instagram account private for the time being, signaling a plan to create a new wave of trends starting from their debut promotions.

Veteran producer Han Sung-soo will oversee TUIDE's overall production. Han is renowned for his success in shaping popular K-pop groups such as Seventeen, After School, IZ*ONE, and TOZ. His involvement signals a significant investment in TUIDE's potential.

Notably, one of TUIDE's members, Park Seoyeon, has garnered attention as the younger sister of TWICE's Jihyo (Park Jihyo). Seoyeon, born in 2008, is the youngest of three sisters, with a significant age gap of eleven years separating her from Jihyo.
