Hollywood Walk of Fame announces 32 honorees for 2027, including Karol G and Pedro Pascal

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has unveiled the 32 artists selected to receive stars on the Walk of Fame in 2027, recognizing a diverse group of international figures. Among the honorees are highly acclaimed Latino artists, including Colombian singer Karol G and Chilean actor Pedro Pascal, who have made significant impacts on the global entertainment landscape.

Karol G is set to be honored in the recording category, while Pedro Pascal, celebrated for his roles in "The Last of Us" and "The Mandalorian," will receive a star in the television category. This marks a significant achievement for Pascal, making him the third Chilean artist to be inducted onto the Walk of Fame, following in the footsteps of Lucho Gatica and Don Francisco.

The class of 2027 boasts considerable diversity, featuring television icons like Lisa Kudrow, known for her role in "Friends," and pop culture figures such as Raven-Symoné and Keke Palmer. The film and television categories also include notable names like Idris Elba, Kate Hudson, and the Fanning sisters, Elle and Dakota, who will be the first siblings to be honored together. Comedian Adam Scott and "Ted Lasso" creator Bill Lawrence are also among the recipients.

Musical recognition extends across various genres and eras, with artists like David Guetta, Lil Wayne, Sia, Linkin Park, Smashing Pumpkins, and Grandmaster Flash joining Karol G. A posthumous star will be awarded to the country music legend Waylon Jennings. This selection follows closely after the Texan group Intocable received their star on July 16. The selection committee, chaired by Peter Roth, chose these artists based on their cultural impact and dedication to their craft, with honorees having two years to schedule their dedication ceremony.
