Home invaders in Paraguay breach wall, steal Rolex and TV

A brazen home invasion in Guarambaré, Paraguay, has left a local merchant without a valuable Rolex watch and a 42-inch television. The incident occurred in the Alegre neighborhood when unknown perpetrators gained entry by creating a hole in the rear wall of the victim's residence.

Félix Correa Arrúa, 47, had left his home around 7:30 a.m. for his hardware store in Ñemby. Neighbors later alerted him to suspicious activity, prompting his return to find his house ransacked. The thieves exploited a gap in the rear wall, adjacent to an empty lot, using it as both their entry and exit point, according to Subcomisario Marcos Rodríguez of Guarambaré's 22nd Police Station.

Apparently, they knew the victim's usual schedule and that the house was without inhabitants.

Images from neighboring properties have provided crucial evidence, capturing two individuals believed to be responsible for the theft. Police suspect the burglars had prior knowledge of Correa Arrúa's routine and knew the house would be unoccupied during the morning hours.

While the perpetrators have not been officially identified, police have a primary suspect residing in a nearby settlement. This individual is reportedly known to authorities for alleged involvement in similar crimes. The case has been handed over to the Public Ministry for further investigation, with the aim of identifying the responsible parties and recovering the stolen items.
