Hong Jia Teng launches new STR X 300 scooter with hexagonal design and enhanced lighting

Hong Jia Teng has introduced its latest yellow-plate scooter, the STR X 300, aiming to capture the urban commuting and leisure riding market. Priced at NT$156,800, the new model boasts a blend of yellow-plate power and white-plate maneuverability, available in "Electric Drive Green" and "Shining White" color options.

The STR X 300's exterior showcases a bold, aggressive sport style with hexagonal geometric design elements, inspired by fighter jet air intakes and wing-like side covers. It features a smoked windscreen, a hollowed-out license plate bracket, and a fully-enclosed rear fender. A distinctive X-shaped three-dimensional LED taillight significantly increases illumination area by 6.2 times, enhancing nighttime visibility and adding a technological flair.

Comfort and convenience have been upgraded, with a 30% larger seat upholstered in anti-slip leather and redesigned riding triangle for improved long-distance comfort. The scooter is equipped with a 4.2-inch LCD instrument panel, Type-A and Type-C fast charging ports, and a 31-liter storage compartment capable of holding a full-face helmet. A new main stand design reduces parking effort by 40%.

For safety and performance, the STR X 300 utilizes a high-strength automotive-grade frame and 35mm rigid front forks. It comes standard with dual-channel ABS and TCS, along with modes for off-road conditions and TCS deactivation for enhanced stability across various terrains. The 278.3cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine has been retuned for increased power and torque, improving acceleration and fuel efficiency.
