Hospital upgrades top MOH’s wish list

Upgrading Fiji's main hospitals stands as the Health Ministry's paramount objective as the nation prepares for the 2026-2027 National Budget announcement. Health Minister Dr. Ratu Atonio Lalabalavu emphasized that enhancing hospital infrastructure is the central pillar of the ministry's budgetary aspirations.

Dr. Lalabalavu stated that significant investment in hospital facilities is crucial for improving healthcare delivery across the country. This focus on infrastructure aims to ensure that Fiji's hospitals are equipped to meet the growing health needs of the population.
