How Clara Darín Lives Today: Ceramics, Photography and a New Role as an Aunt

Clara Darín grew up surrounded by cameras, film sets, dressing rooms, theaters, premieres and award ceremonies. Yet unlike her older brother, Ricardo “Chino” Darín, she did not choose acting. At 33, she has built her own path through fine arts, handmade objects and photography.

During the pandemic, she began working with ceramics and launched Teta Stuff. The brand’s handcrafted designs are sold at Yey House in Palermo. Its colorful products include ashtrays, bowls, candles, jewelry boxes, earrings, necklaces and gabardine tote bags decorated with screen-printed designs. Her Instagram profile sums it up as a “rotation of beautiful things.” She previously ran her own clothing line, CxClara.

Photography gives her another creative outlet. On Clara Films, an Instagram account devoted solely to her photography, she describes the work as “Clara Darín’s analog records.” The account includes photographs of familiar faces, from her parents and brother to Peter Lanzani, Santiago Mitre and Dolores Fonzi during Argentina, 1985’s awards season.

Despite her family’s public profile, Darín has generally stayed away from the spotlight and concentrated on her own art. She still supports her parents and brother at premieres, on film sets and during family trips. In May 2025, during the attention surrounding Netflix’s El Eternauta, she paid tribute to her father online by wearing the mask used by his character Juan Salvo during the toxic snowfall caused by the alien beetle invasion.

The year 2026 brought her a new family role. On Feb. 9, Dante, the son of Chino Darín and Úrsula Corberó, was born at a clinic in Barcelona, making Clara an aunt.
