How far will Nguyễn Minh Thiên go at Mister Eco International?

Vietnamese model Nguyễn Minh Thiên is representing Vietnam in the first-ever Mister Eco International competition, with the finals set to take place on June 11 in the Philippines. This inaugural season features 19 contestants from various countries and territories worldwide.

Known in real life as Nguyễn Văn Thắng, Thiên was born in 1995 and stands 1.8 meters tall. Originally from Hải Dương (now Hải Phòng), he currently works as a model and actor in Ho Chi Minh City. His previous international success includes winning the I Am Model Search International competition held in Thailand in 2025, where he outperformed over 60 models from numerous countries.

For Mister Eco International, Thiên hopes to achieve a high ranking. As of June 10, he holds the seventh position in audience voting, giving him a chance to advance to the top 11 or top 6. The contestant from Cambodia is currently leading the public vote.

Several other models are considered strong contenders for the title, with predictions from beauty pageants favoring representatives from the Philippines, Italy, Egypt, Myanmar, Thailand, and India. However, the Vietnamese representative is projected to reach the top 11. Organizers note that the final results could still change significantly during the main events of the finale. The Mister Eco International competition aims not only to find a winner with outstanding physical attributes but also to promote environmental awareness and inspire sustainable lifestyles within the community. Contestants have been participating in various environmental activities, cultural exchanges, and tourism promotions in the Philippines leading up to the final night.
