How late actress Temitope Osoba and I met, became lovers — Fiancé Onadeko

Prophet Itunu Onadeko, the fiancé of the late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba, has shared intimate details about the beginning of their relationship. Onadeko revealed that Osoba first encountered him when she visited his church seeking prayers, an interaction initiated by her younger sister.

It was her younger sister that told me that her elder sister, Temitope, wanted me to pray for her. I told her sister that Temitope Osoba is the only actress I like in Yoruba Nollywood movies.

Onadeko, who serves as Shepherd-in-charge at CCC Onibuore Cathedral in Lagos, admitted he was already a fan of Osoba's work in Yoruba-language films. He recalled Osoba's initial visit, during which he prayed for her. Following this, their connection deepened, and after she completed her spiritual 'redemption work,' she returned, and they became friends.

One night when she came, she saw me buying food outside and asked if I don’t have a wife. I told her. And she joked that she liked me and wanted me to be my wife.

Their friendship soon blossomed into a romantic relationship after Osoba reportedly expressed interest in marrying him. Onadeko described a moment when Osoba inquired about his marital status and jokingly expressed her desire to be his wife. This led to open communication, the development of feelings, and the commencement of their dating relationship.

Tope was a drug addict and I didn’t know about it on time. I never took her to rehab after noticing because I didn’t have money for it.

Onadeko, who is divorced, also addressed allegations of Osoba's struggle with drug addiction. He stated that he was unaware of this issue when their relationship began and mentioned that he did not have the financial means to send her to a rehabilitation center once he became aware of it. He also clarified that he did not know about her previous relationships, except for a former boyfriend she described as a 'Yahoo boy' who allegedly absconded with her car.
