Hsinchu County Showcases Specialty Produce and Food Education at Central Taiwan Fair

Hsinchu County is presenting its agricultural highlights at the "2026 Central Taiwan Agricultural Marketing and Sales Fair," held in Nantou County. Under the theme "Beautiful Hsinchu," the county's pavilion offers a comprehensive experience, allowing visitors to sample specialty produce and engage in food education activities.

The "Beautiful Hsinchu Pavilion" is curated by the Hsinchu County Farmers' Association, focusing on young farmers and food education. It integrates exhibition and sales booths from various township farmers' associations, offering a one-stop shop for Hsinchu's agricultural products and supporting local farmers.

Beyond product sales, the pavilion hosts two daily food education sessions, each limited to 15 participants. Led by young farmers from the Hsinchu County Young Farmers Association, these workshops cover a range of activities, including strawberry seedling potting, honey-preserved roselle, olive oil ice cream, olive oil oatmeal breakfast cups, citrus yogurt sauce, natural citrus cleaners, and beeswax planters. Participants can learn about Hsinchu's local produce through hands-on creation and tasting.

The Hsinchu County Government's long-term promotion of "locally grown, locally consumed" is evident in this collaboration between the farmers' association and young farmers. The initiative aims not only to promote specialty agricultural products but also to showcase the innovative face of modern agriculture through hands-on experiences and brand storytelling. The exhibition serves as a platform for agricultural exchange and brand marketing within Central Taiwan.
