Huixquilucan roads reopened after heavy rains; emergency units deployed

Traffic circulation has been fully restored on the roads of Huixquilucan, State of Mexico, following disruptions caused by heavy rainfall on Monday night. Municipal authorities announced the reopening of affected routes after extensive clearing operations.

Personnel from Aguas de Huixquilucan and the Municipal Emergency System 24/7 worked through the night to address the issues. Key areas that saw intervention included Palma Dátil-Hueyetlaco, Hacienda de las Palmas, Jesús del Monte, and Camino a Santiago Yancuitlalpan. Hydro-pneumatic 'vactor' units were deployed to clear blockages and ensure the roadways were passable.

Mayor Romina Contreras Carrasco acknowledged the efforts of the response teams via social media. She expressed gratitude to the "Equipo Delta" of Aguas de Huixquilucan and the members of the Municipal Emergency System 24/7 for their "enormous effort and labor" throughout the night. The mayor confirmed that all municipal roads were cleaned and reopened to traffic, highlighting the successful resolution of the disruption.
