South Korean midfielder Hwang In-beom is embarking on a new chapter in his football career, transferring from the Dutch club Feyenoord to the Portuguese powerhouse FC Porto. The club officially announced the signing on July 21 (KST), marking a significant move for the 30-year-old player.

FC Porto has invested up to 5 million euros in securing Hwang's signature, with a base transfer fee of 4.5 million euros and an additional 500,000 euros in potential add-ons. His contract runs until June 2029, and the club holds a one-year extension option. Speculation surrounding Hwang's move intensified after the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, with Portuguese media reporting Porto's keen interest and ongoing negotiations.

Hwang In-beom's transfer makes him the second South Korean player to represent FC Porto, following in the footsteps of Suk Hyun-jun, who played for the club between 2016 and 2018.
