Hyundai, Kia Post Record July Sales in U.S. Market Driven by Hybrids

Hyundai and Kia have reported record-breaking sales for July in the United States, marking their best performance for the month in history. The automotive groups collectively sold 165,284 vehicles, a 5.0% increase compared to the same period last year. This achievement highlights the strong demand for their vehicles in the competitive American market.

The robust sales figures were significantly boosted by the performance of hybrid models. Sales of these eco-friendly vehicles surged by over 50% compared to July of the previous year, indicating a growing consumer preference for electrified options. Hyundai sold 89,427 units, a 3.7% increase year-on-year, while Kia recorded sales of 75,857 units, representing a 6.7% rise.

This record performance underscores the successful strategies employed by Hyundai and Kia in adapting to market trends and consumer preferences.
