Hyundai Launches New Palisade SUV with High-Roof 'Luxury Private Cabin' Option in South Korea

Hyundai is enhancing its flagship Palisade SUV with a new High Roof variant launched in South Korea, aiming to elevate the luxury experience for occupants. This new version distinguishes itself with a significantly increased roof height, creating a more spacious and opulent interior environment.

The Palisade High Roof boasts a steel roof extended upwards by 240 mm, bringing the total vehicle height to 2,005 mm. This substantial increase in vertical space not only makes entry and exit easier for second and third-row passengers but also allows for enhanced interior features. The cabin is further refined with a suede-wrapped interior, dedicated LED reading lights, and air vents. Optional additions include a starlight headliner and a large 21.4-inch rear-seat entertainment screen, crafting an atmosphere reminiscent of a private luxury suite.

While the exterior dimensions are modified, the Palisade High Roof maintains its versatile seating configuration. It continues to offer a three-row layout with options for second-row captain's chairs or a first-row center seat, accommodating between 7 to 9 passengers. This flexibility ensures the vehicle can cater to various family and group needs.

Under the hood, the Palisade High Roof provides buyers with a choice between gasoline and hybrid powertrain options. Complementing these powertrains is the standard inclusion of a predictive electronic control suspension system.
