‘I don’t snatch husbands; MC Oluomo is the only married man I’ve dated’— Ehi Ogbebor

Nigerian interior designer and entrepreneur Ehi Ogbebor has refuted allegations of a pattern of dating married men. She stated that transport union leader Musiliu Akinsanya, known as MC Oluomo, is the sole married man she has knowingly dated.

MC Oluomo is one of my best friends. Ayinde, as I call him, that I know now. That’s the only man I would sit down and say, yes, I did date him as a married man, but he’s Muslim. Even bus conductors have four wives as Muslims.

In an interview on the Chude Podcast, Ogbebor addressed her two failed marriages, her experiences with domestic violence, and the public scrutiny surrounding her relationships. She asserted that the perception of her habitually dating or "snatching" married men is false. "MC Oluomo is one of my best friends. Ayinde, as I call him, that I know now. That’s the only man I would sit down and say, yes, I did date him as a married man, but he’s Muslim. Even bus conductors have four wives as Muslims," she said.

Ogbebor revealed that despite her success and appearance, she endured two failed marriages. She challenged any woman who believes she took their husband to come forward. "As I said, I’m waiting for the wives to come and tell me how I snatched their husbands," she stated.

Beyond relationship controversies, Ogbebor recounted her first marriage at age 18 to someone she barely knew. She described it as a "nonsense" union during which she suffered severe physical abuse. She alleged one incident where her then-husband beat her until she lost consciousness, waking to him pouring olive oil into her mouth. She also recalled an alleged incident during her pregnancy where she was pushed and fell.

Her relationship with MC Oluomo drew significant public attention due to his marital status. While not denying knowing he was married, she described him as a close friend and the only married man she acknowledges dating. Ogbebor was also previously married to businessman Kenneth Bramor, a union that ended after an elaborate 2017 wedding.
