“I firmly believe in this”: President of Kazakhstan addressed the youth

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev delivered a message of encouragement to Kazakhstan's youth, marking International Youth Day with an event in Astana that gathered nearly 3,000 young representatives from across the country. The gathering included a diverse group of volunteers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and members of various organizations.

Read by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva, Tokayev's message underscored the critical role of youth as the "driving force of society" and a "source of creative ideas." He affirmed that youth support policies remain a "key priority for our state," pointing to the ongoing construction of new schools, sports facilities, and development centers nationwide.

Youth support policy will always remain a key priority for our state. Today, new schools, sports facilities, and development centers are being built in all regions of the republic. Large-scale projects are being implemented, and comprehensive support is provided to talented young people.

The President highlighted large-scale projects and comprehensive support for talented young individuals, citing the "Tauelsizdik Urpaktary" (Generations of Independence) grant as a clear testament to this commitment. This competition aims to identify and support "progressive, patriotic, educated, and hardworking young citizens."

Our country is actively pursuing large-scale digitalization and implementing artificial intelligence technologies across all sectors. Ultimately, our goal is to build an economically strong, Fair, Advanced, Safe, and Clean Kazakhstan, where Law and Order prevail.

Tokayev expressed his firm belief in the youth's capacity to advance Kazakhstan's development, which he described as a "highly respected nation" embarking on an era of "historical ascent." He noted the country's active pursuit of digitalization and artificial intelligence implementation across all sectors, with the ultimate goal of building an "economically strong, Fair, Advanced, Safe, and Clean Kazakhstan, where Law and Order prevail."

"Driven by innovation and standing at the forefront of noble initiatives, our energetic youth are capable of conquering any peak. I firmly believe in this!" Tokayev stated, concluding his address with wishes for success and prosperity for the nation.
