Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Davido has declared his strong allegiance to football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, going as far as to say they "chat regularly." The singer, whose real name is David Adeleke, made the claim during a livestream with content creator Carter Efe.

To back up his claim of regular communication, Davido showed Efe what appeared to be a chat conversation with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner on his phone. Efe reacted with visible astonishment to the display. The clip of this interaction has since gained traction on social media platforms.
