Independent lawmaker Han Dong-hoon has released a recording that he says shows Justice Minister nominee Kim Seung-won and broker Yang Su-jin discussing a meeting with the presiding judge in a warrant case.

The case involves allegations that someone sought favors over approval of a clinical trial for a new drug. Han said the recording showed the two discussing a relationship with the judge identified by the surname Jeong.
