Nigerian skit maker and actor Samuel Perry, widely known as Broda Shaggi, has broken his months-long public silence, expressing deep gratitude to his fans for their unwavering loyalty and support during his absence.

In an emotional message shared on his WhatsApp channel, Shaggi acknowledged that he had been unable to connect with his audience as he wished. He thanked those who consistently checked on him and offered support, stating their patience and loyalty meant more than words could convey. "Even when I haven’t been able to show up the way I wanted to, knowing that y’all are still here has meant more than I can put into words," he wrote.

While Shaggi hinted at eventually sharing the full story behind his withdrawal from the public eye, he stated he was not yet ready to disclose the reasons. He expressed hope for a swift return to his creative work, promising his fans an even stronger comeback. "And when it does, I promise I’m coming back better, stronger, and ready to make up for all this lost time," he added.

His message follows months of speculation and concern among fans, partly fueled by reports of an alleged shooting incident involving the comedian during a skit filming in Ogun State. The Ogun State Police Command had initiated an investigation into the reports, though the circumstances remained unclear, and the command could not confirm the incident occurred within its jurisdiction.
