‘I’m for relationship or marriage, but against women using them to escape poverty,’ Geh Geh clarifies

Self-proclaimed financial expert Emmanuel “Geh Geh” Obruste has clarified his stance on relationships, stating he supports them but opposes women who enter them as a means to escape poverty. In a recent interview on the “Before Tomorrow Comes (BTC) podcast,” Obruste emphasized that genuine affection, not financial dependence, should be the foundation of relationships. He also advised men to prioritize their financial growth and seek partners whose lifestyles align with their own. Obruste's comments come shortly after his wedding gained significant social media attention. He later explained that the wedding video was a promotional tool for his upcoming movie, “Our In-Law.” The expert suggested that many men hinder their financial progress by focusing on impressing women instead of wealth creation. He argued that a woman’s true love is demonstrated through her investment in her partner’s life and support for his growth. Obruste also shared principles from his “university,” advising men against funding a woman’s education or business, and instead suggesting they seek partners who are already established in their desired fields. He posited that a wife or girlfriend often continues to benefit from a relationship without contributing financially, using the example of a woman no longer needing to pay rent after marriage. He drew parallels to the animal kingdom, noting that females in many species are responsible for feeding the family.
