Iconic Yamaha motorcycle returns to Argentina with installment plans

Yamaha has reintroduced its iconic Crypton Finn motorcycle to Argentina through a new savings plan, allowing customers to purchase it with installments starting at $74,200 pesos. This move comes as the Argentine motorcycle market experiences significant growth, with sales of new motorcycles increasing by 41.9% in the first seven months of the year compared to the same period in 2025.

The savings plan consists of 60 monthly payments in pesos, designed to facilitate access to the model. Yamaha Motor Plan Argentina has set the launch price for the Crypton Finn within this plan at $3,690,000 pesos. The company highlights that savings plans, while less common in the motorcycle industry than in the automotive sector, represent a viable tool for increasing accessibility due to the lower cost of motorcycles compared to cars.

The Crypton Finn is equipped with a 115cc engine featuring electronic fuel injection (FI) for low consumption, targeting a high-volume segment of the national market. The plan includes two monthly adjudications per group: one by lottery and another by bidding. Each group comprises 120 subscribers. A notable feature is the option for customers to exchange their adjudicated plan for another Yamaha model from the available range.

With the addition of the Crypton Finn, Yamaha Motor Plan Argentina now offers five models through peso-denominated savings plans. Roque Agustín Romano, commercial manager at Yamaha Motor Plan Argentina, expressed enthusiasm for incorporating this "iconic model" and emphasized the company's goal to broaden mobility alternatives through peso-based financing. The plans are exclusively available through the brand's official dealership network.
