IDF Gaza Division seals two Hamas tunnels spanning two kilometers along Yellow Line

The Israeli military announced Wednesday that its Gaza Division Combat Engineers have sealed two Hamas tunnels in the Gaza Strip, which together span more than two kilometers. Drone footage released by the IDF depicts the tunnels running underground and filled with sandbags.

The military stated that troops operating in the area are adhering to the ceasefire agreement while continuing to address immediate threats. This action follows other recent operations in Gaza. Earlier this week, the IDF struck a cafe in northern Gaza City, reportedly killing several Hamas commanders who were allegedly planning attacks against Israeli forces. At least six people were killed and ten wounded in that strike.

Additionally, the IDF targeted a Gazan terror cell in Khan Yunis last week, which was also accused of planning an operation against the military. The IDF has been instructed to halt attacks in Gaza, with exceptions made for terrorists identified as planning imminent strikes.
