IDF kills terrorist who attempted second West Bank stabbing attack in hours

Israeli soldiers killed a terrorist in the Ganim area of the West Bank after the individual attempted a stabbing attack on Thursday. The military confirmed the incident, which is under investigation.

This event represents the second attack of its kind reported in the West Bank on Thursday. Earlier in the day, a 51-year-old man sustained serious injuries in a stabbing attack near the settlement of Elon Moreh. The victim was reportedly stabbed in the chest while attempting to extinguish a fire set by Palestinian residents from the nearby village of Beit Furik.

The IDF stated that the man was evacuated by helicopter to a hospital for medical treatment. The attackers in the earlier incident, identified as two Palestinians, were killed by IDF forces at the scene. The IDF, in coordination with police, has restricted the area around Beit Furik, and investigators are working with the Israel Fire and Rescue services to determine the cause of the fire.
