IEA leader stresses justice, sharia implementation at Cabinet Meeting

The supreme leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, has directed officials to properly fulfill their responsibilities, implement Sharia law and decrees, ensure justice, and serve with sincerity. These instructions were issued during a Cabinet meeting held in Kandahar province.

Deputy IEA spokesman Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat reported on X that the meeting focused on necessary directives for ministers regarding their duties. Akhundzada also emphasized the importance of religious education, piety, and understanding Islamic decrees to strengthen the Islamic system. He urged officials to consider religion and Sharia as the foundation for all their affairs.

The meeting also approved decisions aimed at improving educational services, strengthening economic and political sectors, and reviewing previous council decisions, though specific details were not provided.
