IESS opens extraordinary service day in Quito this Saturday, July 25

The Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS) announced an extraordinary service day in Quito on Saturday, July 25, 2026. The Center for Universal Attention at the IESS Main Building will open its doors to facilitate over 30 essential services for citizens.

This special initiative by the Provincial Directorate of Pichincha aims to provide operational flexibility for insured individuals, employers, and retirees who face difficulties accessing IESS offices during the standard Monday-to-Friday workweek. The center will operate continuously from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

This measure seeks to provide operational facilities to insured individuals, employers, and retirees who, due to their daily occupations from Monday to Friday, have difficulties attending the institution's offices.

During this Saturday session, users can directly process more than 30 in-person procedures. Key services include updating personal information, generating or recovering employer keys, voluntary, youth, and independent affiliations, requesting pensioner certificates, validating rights, registering dependents, and processing monetary subsidies. Employers can also receive direct advisory services for their specific needs.
