Ifarhu opens scholarship applications for master's program in Costa Rica with Incae

The Institute for the Training and Utilization of Human Resources (Ifarhu) has announced a call for Panamanian citizens and foreign residents in Panama to apply for scholarships to pursue an Executive Master in Operations and Supply Chain at the Central American Institute of Business Administration (Incae) in Costa Rica. This prestigious program is scheduled for the 2026-2027 academic year and will be delivered in person.

The scholarship opportunity stems from an educational agreement between Ifarhu and Incae, designed to facilitate financial support for students from both nations. The application period runs from July 20 to August 14, 2026, with the selection of beneficiaries to take place between August 17 and August 21, 2026. The academic program itself is set to commence in September 2026 and conclude in August 2027.

According to the official resolution, the scholarship benefits are comprehensive, covering tuition and fees, study materials, meals in Costa Rica, round-trip airfare between Panama and Costa Rica, travel insurance, accommodation, and airport-to-campus transportation. This holistic support aims to alleviate financial burdens for selected students, allowing them to focus on their academic pursuits.

To be eligible, applicants must meet specific criteria. They must be Panamanian nationals or foreign residents in Panama with a minimum of ten years of certified residency, possess a bachelor's degree, and fall within the age range of 26 to 60 years old. Crucially, candidates must have already secured admission to the Executive Master in Operations and Supply Chain 2026-2027 program offered by Incae.

Required documentation, including a national ID or passport, proof of residency for foreign applicants, and the admission letter from Incae, must be submitted through Ifarhu's website under the International Scholarships section. Selected beneficiaries will be bound by Ifarhu's scholarship regulations, which include participating in social service programs and maintaining the required academic standing throughout their studies. Furthermore, they are obligated to remain in Panama for a period equivalent to the scholarship's duration after completing the program.
