IMA Agro-Fairs Offer Basic Necessities at Low Prices Across Panama on Tuesday

The Panamanian Institute of Agricultural Marketing (IMA) continues its initiative to make essential goods accessible and affordable through its "agro-fairs." On Tuesday, August 4, these fairs will be held in various locations nationwide, allowing the public to purchase staple food items at reduced prices.

Shoppers can expect to find a range of products crucial for daily consumption, including rice, beans, pasta, cooking oil, salt, bread, sugar, grains, vegetables, eggs, tortillas, chicken, plantains, and a variety of fruits. The IMA aims to alleviate the cost of living for citizens by providing these goods at significantly lower costs than typically found in markets.

The agro-fairs are scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. in the following provinces and regions: Chiriquí (Potrerillo Abajo, Dolega), Coclé (El Caño, Natá), Colón (Gobea, Donoso), Herrera (El Chumical, Las Minas), Panamá Este (La Higuera, Chepo), Veraguas (La Misericordia, San José, Cañazas; El Llanillo, Los Algarrobos, Santiago), Panamá Oeste (La Mendoza, La Chorrera), Darién (Aruza Arriba, Rio Iglesia, Santa Fe), and Comarca Ngäbe Buglé (Hato Corutú, Mironó).
