Immigration worries nearly all Latvian voters, poll finds

Immigration is a dominant concern for voters across Latvia, with nearly all supporters of political parties running in the upcoming 15th Saeima elections expressing worry about the issue. A recent survey commissioned by "Delfi" and LSM revealed the widespread anxiety surrounding immigration.

The study, conducted by the research company SKDS, found that immigration is a top priority for the electorates of most political forces. This indicates that the issue will likely play a significant role in shaping campaign platforms and voter decisions.

The sole exception to this broad concern was observed among supporters of the "Progresīvie" party, who appeared less preoccupied with immigration compared to other voter bases. This finding suggests a potential divergence in priorities between different segments of the Latvian electorate as the nation heads towards an election.
