Uzodimma's presentation centered on the theme "Investment Meets Opportunities (IMO)," a rebranding effort that began when his administration took office in 2020. He explained that the state inherited an outdated economic model where the government was overly involved in industry ownership and operation. Recognizing this approach's failure, the administration pivoted towards a strategy that prioritizes governance and fosters an environment conducive to private enterprise.
