Improved performance and financing put BTPN Syariah on track for growth

BTPN Syariah is optimistic about its business outlook as the quality of its financing portfolio and financial performance improve. The bank also plans to open new sources of growth without sacrificing the quality of its financing.

Arief Ismail, a director of BTPN Syariah, said the stronger portfolio and financial results had boosted the bank’s confidence. He also pointed to improved customer payment discipline, with borrowers increasingly making payments on time.

In the first half of 2026, the bank recorded net profit of 655 billion rupiah. Its assets grew 8% year on year to 23 trillion rupiah, while financing increased 9% to 11 trillion rupiah. Return on assets stood at 7.2%, and the capital adequacy ratio reached 58.7%.
