Incredible Luck: NT$125 Spent at FamilyMart Wins Taiwan Lottery's NT$10 Million Grand Prize

An incredibly fortunate shopper in Taiwan has turned a modest NT$125 purchase at a FamilyMart convenience store into a life-changing NT$10 million prize. The winning ticket was for the May-June 2026 period of the unified invoice lottery.

This particular store, FamilyMart's Fengyuan branch in Taichung, sold the sole top prize ticket. The winner's small expenditure highlights the sheer luck involved in the lottery, where a minimal purchase can lead to an extraordinary windfall.

Beyond the grand prize, two other individuals won NT$2 million each. One of these fortunate winners made their purchase at the Xizhi Zhongshu branch in New Taipei City for just NT$115, while another spent NT$200 at the Yilan Xintaisan branch to claim the second-highest prize.

Furthermore, three consumers each won NT$200,000. The winning stores for these prizes were FamilyMart's Tucheng Yusheng, Xinbei Beipu, and Guoshun branches. Notably, one of these NT$200,000 winners only spent NT$25 on FamiCollection brand ice cubes. Other winning purchases included items like blueberry-filled toast, puff pastry cake, and beverages.

In addition to the regular prizes, the lottery also offers special rewards for cloud invoice (electronic receipt) users. This period, two winners received NT$1 million each through this program. One won after spending NT$45 on milk at the Zhongli Jinyang branch, and the other won NT$1 million after spending NT$151 on toast and a Black Pine soda at the Jiaotong University branch.
