Ecuadorian club Independiente del Valle has advanced to the quarterfinals of the Copa Libertadores after a convincing 3-1 victory over Colombia's Deportes Tolima on August 25. This win sealed a 4-1 aggregate triumph for Independiente del Valle, who had won the first leg 1-0.
