India tells Pakistan to end terror, dismisses reports of Gen-Z support for protests

India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has urged Pakistan to cease its state-sponsored cross-border terrorism, responding to reports suggesting support from Pakistani Gen-Z groups for protests in Delhi. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal emphasized that India's focus remains on Pakistan ending its support for terrorism.

"The people of India, including Gen Z, have been demanding that Pakistan end its state-sponsored cross-border terrorism," Jaiswal stated. He expressed hope that Pakistani counterparts would take due note of these demands, shifting the attention from external endorsements of protests to the core issue of terrorism emanating from Pakistan.

The MEA's statement underscores India's long-standing position on the matter, highlighting decades of cross-border terrorism sponsored by Pakistan. The ministry's response aims to redirect the conversation towards Pakistan's responsibility in combating and ceasing such activities, rather than engaging with peripheral reports.
