Indian Envoy Meets Kuwaiti Authorities, Visits Injured Nationals After Airport Attack

India's Ambassador to Kuwait, Paramita Tripathi, personally visited the Central Mortuary to oversee the reception of mortal remains belonging to an Indian national who tragically lost their life during an attack on Kuwait International Airport. During her visit, Ambassador Tripathi engaged with Brigadier Abdulrahim Al-Awadhi, the General Manager of the General Department of Criminal Evidence. She conveyed India's appreciation for the prompt and sensitive manner in which Kuwaiti authorities managed the aftermath of the incident. The Indian Embassy confirmed it is maintaining close contact with the bereaved family and is working with local officials to ensure the expeditious repatriation of the deceased's body. In a further display of support, Ambassador Tripathi also made visits to Indian citizens who sustained injuries in the airport attack and are currently undergoing medical treatment in various hospitals across Kuwait. She spoke directly with the injured individuals, offering assurances of complete support from the embassy. The ambassador emphasized that the embassy is closely monitoring their health status and is actively coordinating with hospital staff and the families to guarantee all necessary assistance is provided during their recovery.
