Indomaret Fun Run Debuts in Yogyakarta, Promising New Community Experience

Indomaret is bringing its popular Fun Run event to Yogyakarta for the first time on August 30, 2026. This marks the ninth Indomaret Fun Run held across Indonesia, aiming to provide a fresh, healthy, and recreational experience for the local community.

The 5-kilometer race will commence and conclude at Stadion Mandala Krida, with a route that winds through Jalan Suryatmajan and Sosrokusuman. Participants can look forward to receiving an exclusive race kit, which includes a jersey, BIB number, finisher medal, and a goodie bag. Additionally, there will be opportunities to win door prizes at the finish line.

Registration begins on July 18, 2026, accessible via the i-Saku application or at any Indomaret store. The standard registration fee is Rp 125,000. However, Indomaret members who purchase at least Rp 50,000 worth of sponsor products can avail a Rp 25,000 discount, bringing the ticket price down to Rp 100,000. The organizers are optimistic about reaching their target of 5,000 participants, despite it being a significant number.

The event promises more than just a run, featuring sport entertainment, culinary offerings, and performances by undisclosed artists. A substantial prize pool for the door prizes is also planned. To ensure a smooth experience, the organizing committee has coordinated with the police and will deploy marshals along the route, with water stations and cheering zones to support the runners. Race pack collection will be available for three days prior to the event.
