Indonesia marked its 81st Independence Day with a solemn flag-raising ceremony at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Monday. The event, centered around the theme 'Indonesia Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous,' underscored the nation's journey and aspirations.

The Paskibraka, the nation's flag-hoisting troop, played a central role, carrying and raising the 'Merah Putih' (Red and White) flag to the tune of the national anthem, 'Indonesia Raya.'
