Indonesia: Projo leader claims attempts to create rift between Prabowo and Jokowi

Budi Arie Setiadi, chairman of the Projo volunteer organization, alleged that certain parties are attempting to sow discord between President Prabowo Subianto and former President Joko Widodo. Setiadi dismissed rumors of a rift between the two leaders and warned those spreading such information.

Setiadi, who served as Minister of Communication and Information under Jokowi and later as Minister of Cooperatives under Prabowo, emphasized the importance of prioritizing national unity.

During the Projo anniversary, Setiadi reaffirmed his organization's support for President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who is Jokowi's eldest son. Setiadi asserted that a government cannot claim to be fighting corruption while tolerating corrupt practices within its inner circle.
