Indonesia’s anti-graft agency seizes luxury home belonging to Bengkulu city lawmaker

Indonesia’s Corruption Eradication Commission has seized a luxury house in South Jakarta belonging to Vinna Ledy Anggraheni, a member of the Bengkulu City Regional Legislative Council.

KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said the seizure formed part of an expanded investigation into alleged bribery in goods and services procurement in Rejang Lebong regency and elsewhere in Bengkulu province. Investigators believe the property may be connected to the case.

This time, the seized asset is one luxury house belonging to VLA, a member of the Bengkulu City Regional Legislative Council. The house is located in South Jakarta.

The commission said it would examine the asset’s origins, how it was acquired, the parties who may have given or received it, and its links to the alleged offenses. Evidence from the seizure will be assessed alongside other material as investigators build the case.

The seizure was carried out because the asset is suspected to be connected to the case.

The investigation grew out of an alleged scheme involving advance bribes tied to projects in Rejang Lebong during the 2025-26 budget years. Rejang Lebong Regent Muhammad Fikri Thobari is among those named as a suspect. KPK has also examined possible links between private parties in the regency case and alleged bribery in Bengkulu city.

Before seizing the house, investigators confiscated Ledy’s car on Aug. 10, 2026. She had been summoned as a witness on Aug. 3. Investigators also searched the home of Bengkulu City Public Works chief Noprisman and found 4 billion rupiah in cash. The latest information on Ledy’s questioning was not available.

From there, investigators will test the connection of each finding with the series of acts in the case, so that the structure of the case can be built fully and clearly on the basis of facts and evidence.
