Indonesia's KPK Searches Home of Audit Board Member in Bribery Probe

Jakarta, Indonesia – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has conducted a search at the Jakarta residence of Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi, a member of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK). The operation, which took place on Tuesday, July 14, is part of an ongoing investigation into alleged bribery related to audit findings for various procurements within the Muara Enim Regency government.

KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo confirmed the search, stating that investigators were executing a compulsory measure at Rizaldi's home in Jakarta. "Indeed, today investigators are carrying out a search at the residence of Mr. BB located in the Jakarta area," Prasetyo said via a written message.

During the search, investigators successfully seized several pieces of electronic evidence that are believed to be connected to the bribery case. "In this search, investigators secured several Electronic Evidence (BBE)," Prasetyo noted. He added that this evidence would be further extracted to gather necessary information for the deepening of the investigation.

This action follows previous investigative steps, including a search of the South Sumatra BPK office. The KPK has already named five suspects in connection with the case. Three individuals are alleged to be the bribe-givers: Edison, the former Regent of Muara Enim for the 2025-2030 period, along with Cory Erin Hardi and Fika from PT Millenium Solusi Abadi (MSA). Two others, Titin Rita Lestari, a civil servant at BPK and the technical controller, and Augusz Dewanggara, also known as Angga, a private sector individual, are suspected of being the bribe-receivers.
