Indonesia's UNM Completes Informatics Ecosystem with Launch of Doctoral Program

Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM) in Indonesia has marked its 25th anniversary by launching a doctoral program in Informatics, thereby completing its educational offerings in the field. This expansion signifies a significant step in providing a comprehensive academic pathway, covering bachelor's, master's, and now doctoral degrees in Informatics.

Rector Dwiza Riana expressed gratitude for the achievement, noting that the doctoral program is the result of extensive preparation and gained government approval. This initiative is designed to offer broader opportunities for lecturers and practitioners seeking advanced knowledge in information technology.

The existence of this Doctoral Program, we also prepared it not easily. We went through an extraordinary, procedural process for the establishment of the Doctoral program, which was passed well.

The doctoral program is also viewed as a crucial step for career development, particularly for academics. For lecturers, pursuing a Ph.D. can enhance their academic capacity and pave the way for the highest career levels, such as becoming a Professor. UNM's move strengthens the Informatics education ecosystem, allowing students and professionals to pursue continuous development aligned with their career goals.
