Indonesia Sports Summit 2026 to Feature Speakers from Ajax Amsterdam and AFC Officials

Indonesia is set to host the Indonesia Sports Summit (ISS) 2026 in Jakarta, a significant event scheduled for September 11-13, 2026. The summit aims to serve as a crucial platform for national and international sports stakeholders, fostering business opportunities in sports infrastructure.

Key figures from the global sports scene are expected to attend, including representatives from the renowned Dutch football club Ajax Amsterdam and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) has confirmed that speakers will also include Menpora Erick Thohir and CEO of Danantara Indonesia, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani. Ajax Amsterdam is slated to share insights on stadium management, including their experience with the Ajax Arena, and their successful youth football development systems.

The event will also highlight national figures, such as West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi, who will discuss the evolving sports industry and ecosystem within Indonesia. The Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC) will host the summit, with different halls designated for various activities, including a hybrid race, an expo featuring attractions like a Hyundai car pull competition, and forums for discussions.

Organizers anticipate a substantial increase in visitor numbers compared to previous years, aiming to double attendance by incorporating more engaging activities and entertainment.
