Indonesian Forum Consolidates Support for President Prabowo's Strategic Programs

The National Communication Forum-08 (FKN-08) successfully convened a national consolidation event, bringing together various elements of society to support President Prabowo Subianto's strategic agenda. Held at Hotel Alia Cikini in Jakarta, the gathering served as a platform for dialogue, consensus-building, and strengthening synergy among supporting organizations, community leaders, academics, and diverse national stakeholders.

More than 125 community leaders, academics, and initiators participated in the event, which was themed "National Consolidation Supporting Pro-People and Economic Independence Programs of President Prabowo Subianto." Indria Febriansyah, an initiator and the organizing committee chair, highlighted FKN-08's role as a unifying force for societal elements committed to supporting President Prabowo's administration. "FKN-08 is here to embrace, not to strike. This forum is a large house that unites various organizations, communities, and societal elements without barriers," Febriansyah stated.

Febriansyah stressed the importance of moving beyond mere political statements to tangible actions, including public education, policy oversight, and constructive collaboration between the public and the government. Yoserizal Nasution, representing the initiators, outlined the organization's strategic direction and introduced 14 key program areas. A primary focus is the establishment of a Food Security coordinator, aligning with the President's strategic program to achieve national food sovereignty.

Other strategic areas include strengthening the people's economy, village cooperatives, national industrial downstreaming, MSME empowerment, education, health, environmental protection, human resource development, and enhancing public communication to counter disinformation and fake news. Nasution emphasized that these programs are designed as a form of public participation to bolster the success of the national development agenda. The event also featured Nehemia Lawalata, former Political Secretary to the late Prof. Soemitro Djojohadikusumo.
