Leaders of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Sufmi Dasco Ahmad and Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal, held a meeting with the Association of Regency Governments (APKASI) in Jakarta. The session served as a dialogue platform to discuss regional governance and the DPR's support for accelerating development across various regencies.

APKASI Chairman Bursah Zarnubi stressed the need for these policies to still allow regional governments to maintain the quality of basic services, particularly in education, health, and infrastructure. APKASI hopes that future budget efficiency policies will continue to provide room for regions to maintain the quality of basic services for the community, from education and health to infrastructure," Bursah stated.

In response, the DPR RI acknowledged the ongoing dynamics and reiterated its commitment to collaborating with the government. Dasco assured that the outcomes of the dialogue with APKASI would be used in coordination with the central government to ensure budget efficiency policies align with regional development needs.
