Indonesian Pawnshop Union, Management Emphasize Synergy for 'Mengemaskan Indonesia' Program

Synergy between the Indonesian Pawnshop Workers Union (SP Pegadaian) and company management is a crucial factor in supporting corporate performance and achieving strategic goals, according to statements made during a meeting attended by the Deputy Minister of Manpower, Afriansyah Noor. A harmonious industrial relationship is seen as vital for boosting productivity and ensuring business sustainability.

During the grand meeting of SP Pegadaian in Depok, West Java, attended by approximately 1,000 employees and retirees, the union's General Chairman, Mufri Yandi, stressed the organization's full support for the management's vision. "We repeatedly emphasize that SP Pegadaian is aligned and shares the vision with PT Pegadaian Management in succeeding the 'Mengemaskan Indonesia' vision," Mufri stated. He added that contributing to the largest financial literacy and gold agenda in Indonesian history is a significant honor for the union.

Mufri indicated that around 14,000 SP Pegadaian members nationwide are ready to back the company's programs, particularly in expanding financial literacy and gold investment. He noted that while selling gold and other company products is a routine obligation, successfully realizing 'Mengemaskan Indonesia' requires a greater energy from all members, as it represents a source of pride.

Furthermore, Mufri underscored the significance of upholding Pancasila Industrial Relations as the bedrock of the partnership between the union and management. He believes that this harmonious relationship is the key to their ongoing synergy and a critical determinant for the success of the 'Mengemaskan Indonesia' vision. Alongside the meeting, SP Pegadaian also organized free health checks for the local community and provided aid to mosques and prayer rooms in the Kukusan area of Depok.
