Indonesian police investigate presenter Vicky Prasetyo in fraud, embezzlement cases

Indonesian police are advancing investigations into two distinct cases involving television presenter Vicky Prasetyo, who faces allegations of fraud and embezzlement. The Metro Jaya Regional Police confirmed they are actively pursuing both complaints, one of which also includes charges of money laundering.

According to AKBP Onkoseno Grandiarso Sukahar of the Polda Metro Jaya's Public Relations division, the first report was filed by an individual identified as RAS. This case has progressed to the investigation stage, with several witnesses already interviewed. The alleged fraud and embezzlement in this instance are reportedly linked to a money laundering offense, with estimated losses reaching approximately Rp500 million.

The second report was filed in July 2026 by a complainant identified as TA, also alleging fraud and/or embezzlement. Investigators are currently gathering evidence and assessing the elements of the crime before proceeding further with this case. This report is still in the preliminary inquiry stage.

As of now, both cases remain under active police scrutiny. One has advanced to a formal investigation, while the other is undergoing initial fact-finding. The legal proceedings against Prasetyo are ongoing.
