Ingentia Names Victor Agbaroji Managing Director, Pledges Growth and Operational Excellence

Victor Agbaroji will take over as managing director and chief executive officer of Ingentia Energies Limited on Sept. 1, 2026, beginning a new phase for the indigenous oil and gas exploration and production company.

The leadership transition took place at a ceremony in Lagos. Agbaroji succeeds Charles Odita, who served as interim managing director for six months, from March through August 2026. Odita described that period as productive and said the company recorded significant milestones during his tenure.

Agbaroji said his immediate priority would be to consolidate and sustain the gains made under Odita. He said the company would continue to focus on its people while placing importance on safety, talent development, innovation and cost competitiveness. Agbaroji brings more than 31 years of experience across the oil and gas value chain.
